What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenants because they did not meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the LTB on January 5, 2023. The condition was for the tenants to de-clutter the rental unit and place it in a reasonable state of cleanliness by February 5, 2023, which they failed to do.

The ruling

The tenancy between the landlord and the tenants is terminated. The tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before April 17, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
