What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, and the Tenant did not void the notice by paying the arrears.
The ruling
Unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $9,495.39 by 2024-01-31 or $10,428.39 by 2024-02-02, the tenancy will be terminated. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must pay $8,807.75 to the Landlord and vacate the unit by 2024-02-02. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord can file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
