What happened

The Landlord had previously applied for an order to evict the Tenant for personal use, and an order was issued on March 24, 2025. On April 4, 2025, the Tenant requested a review of that order. The Tenant's review request was based on a stale-dated compensation cheque and an allegation that the original hearing was unfair. A preliminary review was conducted without a hearing.

The ruling

The Tenant's request to review order LTB-L-079851-24 is denied. The original order, which presumably terminated the tenancy for the Landlord's personal use, is confirmed and remains in effect. The member found no serious error in the order or the proceedings that would warrant a review.
