What happened
The Landlord sought to terminate the tenancy for personal use (daughter's occupation). After an order was issued in favor of the Landlord, the Tenants requested a review, alleging the Landlord acted in bad faith and committed an abuse of process. The Tenants discovered real estate and Airbnb listings for the rental unit that appeared after the original hearing but before the order was issued.
The ruling
The request for review filed by the Tenants is denied. The original order issued on June 18, 2025, which terminated the tenancy for the Landlord's personal use, is confirmed and remains in effect. The stay of the eviction is lifted immediately.
