What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the LTB on April 12, 2023 with respect to application LTB-L-074566-22-SA.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective June 6, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $13,841.76 (less any payments made after May 4, 2023) for rent arrears and the cost of the previous application. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $29.52 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting May 27, 2023 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 6, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
