What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Unauthorized Occupants because the Tenant transferred occupancy of the rental unit to the Unauthorized Occupants without the Landlord's consent.
The ruling
The Landlord's application was granted. The tenancy between the Landlord and Tenant is terminated. The Unauthorized Occupants must vacate the rental unit by May 15, 2025. If they do not vacate by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Unauthorized Occupants must also pay the Landlord $45.35 per day for compensation for use of the unit from March 1, 2025 until they move out, as well as $201 for the application filing fee.
