What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The order was issued on September 9, 2024. On November 13, 2024, Adam Kennedy (the 'Potential Party') requested a review of the order and that the order be stayed until the request to review the order is resolved.

The ruling

Interim order issued to restore Potential Party to possession of Unit 1 pending resolution of review request. Landlord required to allow Potential Party to recover possession of Unit 1. Potential Party to pay $1,100 rent to Landlord until matter resolved. Hearing adjourned due to translation issues, Landlord allowed to bring new translator to adjourned hearing.
