What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenants did not pay $1,000 towards arrears by April 25, 2023 and did not pay the full rent for May 2023 by May 1, 2023.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 6, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $8,274.30 plus $51.55 per day from May 27, 2023 until the Tenants vacate the unit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by June 6, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
