What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 30, 2023. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before September 30, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlords compensation of $16.44 per day for the use of the unit starting September 7, 2023 until the date the Tenant moves out.
