What happened
The Landlords filed for a review of a previous LTB order, asserting it contained a serious mathematical error. Specifically, the Landlords claimed the amount of rent the Tenant was recorded as having paid since the application filing date was incorrect because it included payments made before the filing date. The ruling
The Landlord's request to review the order from January 16, 2025, is granted due to a serious error in calculating rent payments. The previous order is cancelled and cannot be enforced. A new hearing is directed to be heard on the merits of the original application for termination of tenancy and eviction due to non-payment of rent.
