What happened

The Landlord had previously obtained an ex parte order (LTB-L-015691-25) to terminate the tenancy because the Tenant failed to meet a condition from an even earlier order (LTB-L-071212-24). The Tenant filed a motion to set aside the ex parte order. However, the Tenant failed to attend the scheduled videoconference hearing for their motion. The Board Member proceeded with the hearing in the Tenant's absence.

The ruling

The Tenant's motion to set aside the previous order (LTB-L-015691-25) is denied because the Tenant abandoned it by not attending the hearing. The stay on the previous order is lifted immediately, and that order remains unchanged.
