What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant, and wilful or negligent damage to the premises.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 19, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $3,553.85 for the damage caused to the doors and $186 for the cost of filing the application, for a total of $3,739.85. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 19, 2023, they will start owing interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
