What happened

The landlords and tenants entered into an agreement to terminate the tenancy as of May 14, 2023, but the tenants did not move out by the termination date. The landlords filed an application to obtain vacant possession.

The ruling

The tenancy between the landlords and tenants is terminated. The tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before July 1, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The tenants shall pay the landlords $186.00 for the cost of filing the application.
