What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring the Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $6,841.00 on January 16, 2023, which includes rent arrears owing up to May 8, 2022 and the cost of the application and unpaid NSF charges. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by January 16, 2023, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
