What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant or an occupant causing a fire in the rental unit that impaired the safety of others, and the Tenant willfully damaging the rental unit by breaking a window to regain entry after being ordered not to enter.

The ruling

The Landlord's application to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant is granted. The tenancy is terminated effective July 22, 2024. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not vacate by July 22, 2024, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement, and the Tenant will owe interest on the outstanding amount.
