What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlords served a valid N4 Notice, and the Tenant did not void the notice by paying the rent arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $13,716 or $15,016 by May 16, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, they must move out by May 16, 2023. The Tenant must also pay $5,715 in rent arrears, $42.74 per day in compensation, and the $201 application fee.
