What happened

The Landlord filed an application to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Tenants were served a valid N4 notice but failed to pay the arrears. The Tenants did not attend the scheduled videoconference hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants pay $4,186.00 by June 27, 2025. If they fail to do so, they must vacate by that date, and the Landlord can enforce the eviction. If terminated, the Tenants must pay the Landlord $3,547.68 for arrears and costs up to the hearing date, plus $32.88 per day for continued occupancy from June 12, 2025.
