What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.
The ruling
The Landlord has proven the grounds for termination of the tenancy and the claim for compensation. The Tenant must move out by April 30, 2025. The Tenant owes compensation to the Landlord for use of the unit starting January 1, 2025, but the rent deposit and interest will be deducted from the amount owed.
