What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated as of January 23, 2024, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $10,151.27, which includes rent arrears up to the move-out date and the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 21, 2024, they will start owing interest at 7% annually on the outstanding balance.
