What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The Tenant failed to pay $1,200 in arrears by the due date and failed to pay the full monthly rent on time for February 2024.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective April 26, 2024. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $20,039.32 plus $93.70 per day starting April 4, 2024 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by April 26, 2024, the Tenant will owe interest at 7% annually on the outstanding balance starting April 27, 2024. The Landlords may file this order with the Court Enforcement Office to enforce the eviction if the Tenant does not vacate by April 26, 2024.
