What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet the condition of paying rent by the due date specified in the previous order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 6, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $22,958.27 plus $88.77 per day starting April 26, 2023 until they vacate the unit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by May 6, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
