What happened

The ruling

The Landlord's application to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent is granted, but the Tenant is granted conditional relief from eviction. The Tenant must pay $14,486 in arrears and costs by May 1, 2027, and continue to pay new rent on time. If the Tenant fails to make any of the required payments, the Landlord can apply to the LTB to terminate the tenancy without further notice.
