What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Tenants failed to appear at the hearing. While the Tenants made partial payments after the application was filed, they did not settle the arrears or respond to the Landlord's attempts to establish a repayment plan.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 2, 2025. The Tenants may void the eviction by paying $9,036.00 on or before August 2, 2025. If the Tenants do not pay and do not move out, the Landlord may enforce the eviction through the Sheriff starting August 3, 2025. Upon termination, the Tenants are ordered to pay $4,655.46 plus daily compensation of $64.11 until they vacate.
