What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay the full rent for April 2023 and the required amount towards outstanding arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 6, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $4,609.04 plus $82.19 per day starting May 27, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 6, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
