The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 8, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,224.95, which includes rent arrears up to April 27, 2023, and $55.23 per day in compensation starting April 28, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 8, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
