What happened

The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy because the Tenants' employment as superintendents ended. A previous order granted eviction. The Tenants filed a review request alleging serious errors, including a discrepancy in daily compensation rates, an error in the termination date (which was corrected in an amended order), speculation regarding the monthly rent amount, procedural unfairness due to a change in the presiding Member, and a failure to consider personal circumstances (injuries and subsidized housing application) for relief from eviction.

The ruling

The Tenants' request for a review of the eviction order was denied. The Board found that the assignment of a new Member to the case was legally valid and that no serious errors were made regarding rent calculation or the refusal to grant relief from eviction. The original order terminating the tenancy remains in effect.
