What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to pay rent as ordered in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 11, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,264.57 in rent arrears and application fees, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $34.10 per day in compensation for use of the unit from June 1, 2023 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 11, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
