What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year for the Landlord's son, David Moreira.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before January 31, 2024. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlords may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. If the Tenant fails to move out by January 31, 2024, the Tenant shall pay the Landlord compensation of $31.56 per day for the use of the unit starting February 1, 2024, until the date the Tenant moves out.
