What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant, and for willful or negligent damage to the premises. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The Tenant's request to review the December 17, 2024 order and to have a re-hearing of the Landlord's application is denied. The order is confirmed and remains unchanged. The interim order issued on January 3, 2024 is cancelled and the stay of order LTB-L-035263-24 is lifted on March 31, 2025.
