What happened
The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy following a dog attack where the Tenant's dog, Pistol, injured another tenant and their dog. The LTB previously ordered eviction, which the Tenant requested a review of, arguing that the attack was a 'natural' dog fight and that she was denied a conditional order despite offering solutions like muzzling.
The ruling
The request for review is denied. The original order terminating the tenancy and ordering eviction remains in effect. The stay of the order is lifted, and the Tenant must vacate the rental unit on or before July 31, 2025.
