What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, and the Tenant did not void the notice by paying the rent arrears.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays the outstanding rent arrears and costs by the deadlines provided. If the Tenant does not make the required payments, the Tenant must vacate the unit by August 30, 2023 and the Landlord can then file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
