What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet the conditions specified in a previous LTB order, including not paying the full rent arrears and current rent on time.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 2, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $9,121.21, which includes rent arrears up to April 21, 2023, and the cost of the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $26.30 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting April 22, 2023, until the Tenant moves out.
