What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant because the tenant did not meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the LTB on May 24, 2023 with respect to application LTB-L-072866-22.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 10, 2023. The tenant must pay the landlord $16,430.05 (less any payments made after June 8, 2023) for rent arrears and the cost of filing the previous application. The tenant must also pay the landlord $39.45 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting June 30, 2023 until the tenant moves out.
