What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. Keegan Macneil was removed from the application as he had vacated the unit prior to the hearing.

The ruling

The Landlord's application is granted. The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $26,209 by December 8, 2024 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, they must vacate by December 8, 2024 and pay the Landlord $11,006.79 plus daily compensation.
