What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling
The tenancy will be terminated if the tenant does not pay $11,561 by June 30, 2023 or $12,583 by July 10, 2023 to void the order. If the tenant does not void the order, they must pay $11,177.40 to the landlord and $33.60 per day in compensation until they vacate the unit.
