The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 17, 2023. The tenants must pay the landlord $13,212.24 (less any payments made after the application was filed) for rent arrears up to April 6, 2023, plus $40.04 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting April 7, 2023 until the tenants move out. If the full amount is not paid by April 17, 2023, the tenants will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
