What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 5, 2023. The tenants must pay the landlord $19,460.72 (less any payments made after the application was filed) for rent arrears up to April 24, 2023, and the cost of the previous application. The tenants must also pay $41.03 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting April 25, 2023 until they vacate.
