What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order, which was to pay rent arrears and a lump sum payment by certain due dates.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 9, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $23,196.26 plus $48.25 per day for each day of occupancy after June 28, 2023. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 9, 2023, they will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
