What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year by the purchaser.
The ruling
The Landlord's application to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants is granted. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by May 31, 2024. The Landlord has established that the purchaser genuinely intends to occupy the rental unit. The Tenant's claim of maintenance issues is not reasonable as the Tenant did not notify the Landlord of the issue.
