What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The parties reached an agreement to resolve the issues during a Board facilitated mediation.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 31, 2024. If the Tenant vacates by that date, the rent arrears and application filing costs are waived. If the Tenant does not vacate, they must pay $5,775.79 by the vacate date. The Tenant must pay July 2024 rent on time and in full, and the last month's rent deposit will be applied to August 2024 rent.
