What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant had medical issues that prevented their participation in the previous hearing, but failed to pay rent as required by the Interim Order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $21,650.28 by February 29, 2024 or $23,362.46 by March 8, 2024 to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must vacate the unit by March 8, 2024 and pay the Landlord $15,840.56 plus daily compensation.
