What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying the rent arrears and was not present at the hearing.

The ruling

Unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $7,788.72 by April 13, 2024, the tenancy will be terminated. If not voided, the Tenant must pay $1,107.37 and move out, with daily compensation of $74.15 starting February 29, 2024.
