What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice and the Tenant did not void the notice by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $13,883.51 on or before August 30, 2024. If the Tenant does not void the order, the Tenant must move out by August 30, 2024 and pay the Landlord $13,244.05 plus daily compensation of $19.73 per day starting July 30, 2024 until the Tenant moves out.
