The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective May 12, 2023. The tenants must pay the landlord $2,363.81 (less any payments made after the application was filed) and $37.81 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting May 2, 2023 until the tenants move out. If the full amount is not paid by May 12, 2023, the tenants will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
