What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year by the Landlord's son.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 31, 2025. The Landlord is required to pay one month's compensation to the Tenant by March 31, 2025. The last month's rent deposit and interest will be applied to the last month of the tenancy.
