What happened

The ruling
The Landlord's application to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants for non-payment of rent is denied, subject to the following conditions: The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $9,800 in rent arrears and $186 in application fees, in monthly installments of $2,000 plus the lawful rent, starting October 1, 2024. If the Tenants fail to make any of these payments, the Landlord may apply to the LTB for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants without further notice.
