What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order. The Tenants did not pay the full rent for January 2023 by the due date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 7, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $317.25 plus $58.88 per day starting March 28, 2023 until they vacate the unit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by April 7, 2023, they will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
