What happened

The Landlord requested a review of a previous motion order (dated June 25, 2025) which had denied the Tenants' motion to set aside an ex-parte eviction order. The ex-parte order was originally issued because the Tenants failed to meet conditions set in an earlier LTB order regarding rent arrears. The Landlord sought review of the determination that the Tenants could not void the order by payment.

The ruling

The request for a review of the motion order issued on June 25, 2025, is denied. The Board confirmed that there were no serious errors in the previous decision which upheld an ex-parte eviction order. The eviction remains enforceable at the Landlord's discretion.
