What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay the full rent for December 2022 by the due date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 8, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $8,013.61 plus $65.65 per day from April 28, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 8, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
