What happened

The Tenant requested a review of an order terminating the tenancy and ordering eviction for non-payment of rent. The Tenant claimed she did not receive the Notice of Hearing and only became aware of the proceedings when the Sheriff enforced the eviction on July 9, 2025. The Landlord countered that she personally delivered the notice and that the Board had also mailed it.

The ruling

The Tenant's request for review is denied. The original order issued on June 6, 2025, which terminated the tenancy and ordered eviction, is confirmed and remains unchanged. The stay of that order is lifted immediately.
